Worlds Not to Live In

I totally missed last weeks topic and I so wanted to do that one.  Instead of doing books that make you cry (this weeks topic), I will do last weeks.  I don’t think many books make me cry anyways.  That is my excuse anyways.

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted over at the Broke and the Bookish.  Check them out.

All links will take you to Goodreads.

All of these books have worlds I wouldn’t want to live in.

Ashes Trilogy– Zombies that are pretty gruesome.  Plus, if you aren’t running away from a zombie, you are one.

Ready Player One-A place where everyone is checked out of the world.  Everything we do is online.  It sounds appealing when I want to stay in my pajamas.  Then I think about how lazy I could be when I don’t have to go anywhere.  I just know it wouldn’t end well.

Delirium– A world without love, no thanks.

Divergent– In this world you must choose whether you are honest, selfless, brave, peaceful, or intelligent.  That becomes your faction for the rest of your life.  I am going to say I don’t want just one!

It– A creepy clown that only kids can see.  The town is deadly for children.  Plus, did I mention that there is a creepy clown?!

Hunger Games– I have a feeling I wouldn’t be born into the Capitol.  So, that means my life would be hard.  I know I would never make it if I was chosen in the reaping.

The Devil Wears Prada– A cold, heartless boss that makes crazy demands that can never be fulfilled.  If you work and live in this world you better not eat barely anything again.

The Help– I don’t think I need to justify this choice.

A Thousand Splendid Suns- Again I don’t think I need to justify this choice.

That isn’t ten, but I am going to stop there.  What world did I miss?
