I did this last month out of sheer business and lack of blog material. However, I had fun with it and decided to do it again for March.
I read 8 books in March. Well 6 books and 2 novellas.
Wild by Cheryl Strayed-I enjoyed this one, but didn’t love it. I liked hearing about the struggles of Cheryl’s life. After reading that book, I can safely say I don’t want to hike the Pacific Coast Trail.
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi– A good start to a series. I found Juliette annoying at times, but did want to keep going on the series.
Destroy Me by Tahereh Mafi (novella)- This is told from another perspective, Warner, and I actually enjoyed this better than the first book in the series.
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi– I enjoyed the second book in the series. It seemed to really pick up speed and more Kenji (yah).
Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi (novella)-This is told from the perspective of Adam, and I did enjoy being able to hear his side.
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi– A good end to the series. I still didn’t feel like any of the books were 5 stars, but I did fly through them. So there is that!
A Snicker of Magic by Natalie Lloyd– This was a great book for kids that love to read. I think for the right child, it could easily become a favorite. Review to come soon.
I watched 4 movies in March
Not really a fan of this one. I definitely didn’t think it deserved all those awards.
Good, but it wasn’t great. I liked the twists and turns in the story, but overall it was just ok.
My favorite out of the award winners. It was crazy suspenseful.
I didn’t get to see this in the theatre, it didn’t come to Alaska (insert sad face here). Although the good people at Veronica Mars made it available to download. So they made sure I wouldn’t have to be depressed. My favorite of the month, of course.
These are the songs I was enjoying in March:
The things I am most excited for in April.
What did you enjoy for the month of March? What are you looking forward to in April?
